GSN announces Winners and Finalists In 2015 Homeland Security Awards

Government Security News is pleased to announce the Winners and Finalists in its seventh annual Homeland Security Awards. As in previous years, the awards program was divided into three basic categories: Best Vendors of IT Security Products and Solutions; Best Vendors of Physical Security Products and Solutions, and acknowledgement of the Most Notable Programs, Projects and Initiatives of Federal, State, County and Municipal Government Agencies and Departments.

GSN would like to thank lead Judge Charles (Chuck) Brooks, whose tireless efforts to determine the most deserving entries led him to pore through websites, read white papers and case studies and study historical information, in addition to reading a large stack of 500-word “Reasons why this entry should win” essays. Chuck has accepted an invitation from Government Security News to contribute an article in the Digital Yearbook of Homeland Security Awards Winners that he encountered as a judge of this awards program.

An article about the very impressive career to date of Mr. Brooks can be found here.

In a final point, participants in the 2015 Homeland Security Awards may be interested to know that GSN has decided to combine its popular Digital Yearbook of Homeland Security Awards Program with its equally popular Yearbook of the Airport, Seaport, Border Security Awards Program, concluded earlier in the year, into a broadly distributed Digital Yearbook that shows off some of the best work of the year in homeland security and defense. All GSN Awards Winners and Finalists in 2015 are invited to sign up for two-page spreads describing their winning entries. For more information on this opportunity, GSN Publisher Mike Madsen is available to answer all questions at 732-233-8119 or at his email address of [email protected].
