LRAD adds systems to mass notification product line
SAN DIEGO July 11, 2017 LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world’s leading provider of acoustic hailing devices and advanced mass notification systems, today announced two new systems to its award winning ONE VOICE product line - the LRAD 360XL and the LRAD SoundSaber-X (“SS-X”).
Powered by LRAD’s XL driver technology, the LRAD 360XL packs more audio output and broadcast range into smaller, lighter system configurations. LRAD 360XL systems feature LRAD's industry-leading voice intelligibility and provide approximately twice the audio output and broadcast range of LRAD 360X systems.
“Our first LRAD 360XL systems were delivered late last month to the Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) in Illinois as part of their LRAD mobile trailers system enhancement,” noted Richard S. Danforth, Chief Executive Officer of LRAD Corporation.
The LRAD SS-X is the next generation of LRAD SoundSaber line array mass notification speakers. The LRAD SS-X features a new lightweight, rugged, and highly efficient driver technology that provides exceptional voice intelligibility and utilizes 66% less power to generate 16dB more in audio output than the LRAD SS400.
“One of our international partners recently received the initial SS-X shipment for a significant outdoor mass notification business opportunity,” added Danforth. “LRAD Corporation continues to enhance its ONE VOICE product line and provide technological advances and superior solutions for the large and growing mass notification market."
