Justice Department institute releases study comparing lone wolf terrorists to mass murderers

WASHINGTON Jan. 3, 2017 The Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice (NIJ), today released its latest product from NIJ's Research and Evaluation Program on Domestic Radicalization to Violent Extremism. "What Can We Learn From the Similarities and Differences Between Lone Wolf Terrorists and Mass Murderers?" discusses NIJ-funded research that examined whether the pathways to acts of violence were similar for lone actor terrorists and mass murderers.
